Sharing buying duties with Sarah, Jane’s tasks also include visual merchandising at all three Sinc locations and “general bossing everyone around!” she laughs.
“I have a great relationship with my sisters, they are my best friends and we’ve always been very close,” she says. “But we do have quite different personalities and I think therein lies the key to Sinc’s success.”
When asked to define the Sinc customer, Jane says they are as diverse as the store itself; a broad range of women, men and children who seek quality products and superior service.
“One piece of advice we got in the beginning was to look after the local clientele which we still aim to do. We are lucky enough to be part of a loyal community that we can listen to and cater for. No matter how many stores we open, we will never stray from this core aim.”
